This event is at 6:30 with a suggested donation of $5-$10 which supports Iredell Museums.Join us on April 20 for "A Brief History of Old Fourth Creek Burying Ground", a talk given by Scott Stevenson.Scott Stevenson is a local historian who leads preservation efforts of the Old Fourth Creek Burying Ground located in downtown Statesville. It is one of the oldest cemeteries in the area, used by the Fourth Creek Congregation who were the earliest European settlers in the Statesville area. The first known burial took place in 1759 and the final burial in 1888. Find out more about the history and preservation of this important part of Statesville's history!
